SPRINGFIELD – Ruthanne Nitchman, 80, formerly of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024 in Hospice of Dayton. Ruthanne was born on Jan. 18, 1944 in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Clyde Miller and Ruth Mae (Murray) Parsell. Ruthanne was a devoted member of the Eastern Star Olivet Chapter #538. She was known for her love of reading and solving puzzle books. Her passion for game shows brought excitement to her days, and she never missed an opportunity to test her luck at the casino or enjoy a leisurely riverboat trip. Above all, Ruthanne found immense joy in spoiling and teasing her grandkids and great-grandsons. She loved taking trips with her family, creating lasting memories along the way. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
